Ideal natural conditions for quality production
The agricultural land of “Bistren” is located at an altitude of 200 to 400 meters, where constant fresh winds create ideal conditions for cultivating high-quality crops. This natural balance enables the production of healthy, premium-quality food characteristic of the region.
Focus on field crops and modern production
- Focus on field crops
- Around 500 hectares of barley, 30 hectares of oats, and 40 hectares of vetch
- Modern agrotechnical measures for optimal yield and quality
As part of its production, “Bistren” also focuses on field crops. The majority of the land – approximately 500 hectares – is dedicated to barley cultivation, while oats are grown on around 30 hectares and vetch on approximately 40 hectares. Production is carefully planned using modern agrotechnical measures and technologies that ensure optimal yield and quality.
Part of the cultivated crops is intended for market sale, while an increasing portion is used for feeding the company’s own livestock. “Bistren” is particularly recognized for its Angus cattle, which are fed exclusively with natural, organically produced feed from its own fields. This integrated approach allows for full quality control – from field to final product.
Productive agriculture with a sustainable approach
By combining tradition, modern technologies, and a responsible approach to nature, “Bistren” represents an example of how modern agriculture can be both productive and sustainable.
